GOING GREEN AGAIN
Full Description:
If enchanted forests, with plants, trees, birds, squirrels, butterflies and raccoons, are the stuff fairy tales are made of, then the communities in the county are definitely loving out a dream.
Cities in Broward county, currently on a mission to have community wildlife habitats nestled throughout the county to counteract the loss of "green space," are lining up to register for the National Wildlife Federation's community wildlife habitat program. The program creates communities where food, water, cover, and places to raise brood are available for fauna.
Our very own Parkland is currently working on a certification to join other communities and groups in this feat.
